Third Place Books welcomes HWA Seattle member-author G. G. Silverman to the Lake Forest Park branch for a conversation about her debut short story collection, The Blood Year Daughter: a collection of feminist horror stories where women and girls escape smiling captors, draw blood to curse their loved ones, and wield fear to defend themselves in post-apocalyptic worlds. This event will include a public signing and time for audience Q&A.

This is the PNW’s premiere horror convention and probably our biggest event of the year!
If you want to go as an attendee or participate with the HWA, you'll want to make your plans now for travel and lodging. There will be writers’ program track, vendors, a film fest, the Camp Crypticon III contest anthology launch announcing the winners, a spooky open mic, galley of art, cosplay and so much more.
