This short online workshop led by HWA member Tamara Kaye Sellman will focus on:

  • How to set up a live selling event (planning)

  • How to handsell your work face to face (tips and tricks)

  • Protocols for handselling your work alone or with other authors

  • How to find live selling events with/without the HWA

Always wanted to write a comic but never knew where to start? Want to break into one of the biggest creative fields going on right now? Then join award-winning multi-published author and HWA SEA Josef B. Wilke’s crash course on creating comics!


Designed to get your ideas out of your head and onto paper, this class goes over the basics of writing a comic script, how to land an artist, and how to pitch your book to industry titans like Image Comics (or produce it yourself through crowdfunding) followed by an in person Q&A.

SEATTLE HORROR BOOK CLUB: THE ONLY GOOD INDIANS by Stephen Graham Jones


Join Perla X. Caballero with the Seattle Horror Book Club to discuss this popular title from the American horror author, who will also be featured at Seattle Arts & Lectures on Monday March 30. The book club will meet in March at Charlie's Queer Books, 465 N 36th St, Fremont.
