First off, we want to start by saying THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered at our chapter events as well as though who came up to us to chat about horror, buy books, and ask us questions about the HWA. We greatly appreciate you all!
We did a lot of events this month so we'll just go in order from the beginning of October to the end.
Friday, October 4th - Paper Boat Booksellers Horror Night
It was an amazing panel on Demystifying Horror! Our authors present included - Maria Giakoumatos, Jaq Evans, Conor Metz, JP Barnett, and Gordon B. White.
Saturday, October 12th - Artisans Books & Coffee Horror Night
Thanks to everyone who came out for the panel on Demystifying Horror and chatted with us afterwards!! It was a fun evening! & thanks again to @artisansbooksandcoffee for hosting the HWA Seattle Chapter!
Authors included - Clay Vermulm, G.G. Silverman, Kerri-Leigh Grady, Kino McFarland, and JP Barnett.
Saturday, October 12th - Fall FestiCon with Page Turner Books
Page Turner Books hosted Fall FestiCon & we came out with a table full of our authors' books! Co-chairs Brianna Malotke & Josef Wilke manned the table. Member J.W. Donley had his own author table across the room and we all had a blast attending the event. Our co-chair Brianna even won the costume contest with her Daphne look.

Friday, October 18th & Saturday, October 19th - Stalker Farms Campfire Stories & More
We spent Friday & Saturday night at Stalker Farms telling horror short stories around a campfire, chatting with fellow horror fans at our table, and selling books!
Friday night's authors included - Maria Giakoumatos, JP Barnett, Jack Reigns, Brianna Malotke, and Erik Keevan (aka Bonesly Bookworm, the blighted bibliophile & our emcee for both nights).
Saturday night's authors included - Brianna Malotke, Josef Wilke, Kino McFarland, Sammie Shawking, and Erik Keevan.
Again, just a huge thank you to all our volunteers, organizers, hosts, and horror fans! Our events wouldn't have been successful without each and every one of you! 🎃
